Open Mic, Come Original in Madison, NJ
Upcoming Embrace DIY Events:
Wednesday April 8 - Music Open Mic @The Madison Community Arts Center. Sign up - 7pm / 7:30-10pm mic. Everyone gets 2 songs (10mins max). First come, first serve. We have a Steinway Piano, cajon drum, bass & guitar amps you can use. Last month was another PACKED mic; the list filled up quickly and there was another waitlist! Such a fun night. Please arrive at 6:45/7pm if you want to get a spot.
—> Mutual Morris Coffee Collective will be vending! Serving espresso, lattes, matcha, Americano, specialty drinks, water, etc. benefiting their Mutual Aid Organization!

Every month there is a show that is specially curated to bring together some of the best original bands, local artists & creators as pop up shops, and a coffee cart that raises money for Mutual Aid. It’s called the Come Original Showcase and it’s been making waves at the arts center since April of 2022.
Join us on Saturday April 18, 2026 at 7pm at The Madison Community Arts Center for a lineup of local Alt Rock/Jazzy/Funky bands!

POOR DARLING CRAFTS - Buttons, bracelets, and more made entirely from donated, thrifted, and recycled items.

Downtown is walking distance from the venue. We are also a short walk from the train station. There are free parking lots nearby and free street parking. There will be limited seats available so come early if you want to grab one!
